When Christmas time arrives, mums and dads ask themselves: And now? What do we do with the children? Many parents are grateful that kids spend most of their time at school so that they can work, but when holidays arrive, not knowing how to amuse them poses a problem. Same thing happens when kids go on holidays: Many people don’t know what plan to organize so that children are being entertained and not bored.
If you’re on vacation in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife Children’s Park is the solution to these problems. PIT (Parque Infantil y Juvenil de Tenerife) offers attractions, games and entertaining, educational activities in the Funfair of Tenerife (Recinto Ferial de Tenerife), in the capital of the island.
This has been the solution and hope for many parents and children since years, and in fact the first edition of the event was carried out 30 years ago. Ever since, the event it’s been yearly celebrated during the christmas holidays.

The project was an initiative of Tenerife’s town council that wanted to offer a space where children and teenagers would learn and enjoy themselves at the same time. And it’s great that they did it because it has actually been the childhood memories of many locals! It tends to be open all day long, apart from key dates, such as the 25th of December and the 1st of January, that open only in the evening. What’s more, the price per person is around 9 euros!
Ice rink, gaming areas, karaoke, climbing, bumper cars, environmental workshops, make-up or balloon modelling workshops are some of the many activities you will find there. Everything that children wish to have.

Remember, PIT is one of the solutions for keeping kids calm, entertained, amused and get them to learn all at the same time this Christmas season. Maybe by watching them, you’ll feel like becoming a kid all over again!
